She is a student at Monroe High School, and is involved with the football program, NHS, Leo’s Club, and Student Government. She also works with Big Brothers Big Sisters. She hopes to major in education in college.

Emma works with Jana Peirce on web development and graphic design projects, as well as other projects as needed. In the past she has worked on materials for the Alaska Tobacco Control Alliance, the Alaska Public Health Association and many other organizations. She also designed the Fairbanks North Star Borough’s Air Quality Guide. She hopes to study computer science in college.

Jessica is based in our Anchorage office and enjoys working with groups and organizations to develop innovative, inclusive, and efficient processes that help them build their own capacity to thrive in their work. She works extensively with the Alaska Tobacco Control Alliance (ATCA), including coordinating the annual Tobacco summit, steering committee meetings, providing organizational support for eight ATCA workgroups and coordinates appropriate interface among these groups. Jessica provides facilitation support and technical assistance for Community Planners in the Tanana Chiefs Conference region and is on the facilitation team for a regional visioning project in Bristol Bay. Jess provides conference planning support and event coordination for the Alaska Public Health Association and has facilitated or co- facilitated meetings for TCC, the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority, and a variety of non-profits.

While at DCCED, Indra was responsible for community information systems and analysis on a wide range of topics, from demographics to the impacts of the high cost on energy on communities, and state level industry dynamics.

Relevant projects for Information Insights include a statewide housing assessment for the Cold Climate Housing Research Center; a housing needs assessment for the US Army at Fort Wainwright; management and facilitation on the Behavioral Health Planning Project for the State of Alaska and the Alaska Mental Health Trust; a feasibility study for the Fairbanks Convention and Visitor’s Bureau; analysis for the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center socio-economic impact study; and program development consultation for the Kenaitze Indian Tribe.

Branton has experience providing administrative support to various University of Alaska offices, statewide and at the UAF campus, for over 25 years, 15 of which were with the General Counsel’s office. She was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in English from UAF in 1980.

When not at work, she enjoys gardening and quilting.

Past projects for Information Insights include a public information campaign on pandemic flu for the Fairbanks North Star Borough; a health care plan for the Mat-Su Borough; a management audit review for the Mat-Su Borough School District, and an Alaska Health Research Plan for the University of Alaska in response to Senate Joint Resolution 44. Other clients include Access Alaska, Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority, Nerland Agency, and the State of Alaska Office of Children’s Services.
