Brian Rogers named UAF’s Interim Chancellor
Information Insights Principal Consultant and CFO Brian Rogers has been named the University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Interim Chancellor. He will be stepping down from his position at Information Insights to take the two year position, replacing outgoing Chancellor Steve Jones. (more…)
Childcare Rating Study
Conducted for the Fairbanks North Star Borough,this project included research, development of a local childcare rating system, hiring and training of raters, and development of manuals and rating charts. The project raised the quality of childcare for over a thousand children in the Fairbanks North Star Borough in one year. This astonishing change occurred in a very short amount of time and the results are backed by excellent data.
Behavioral Health Integration
Information Insights facilitated a stakeholder process to plan integration of mental health and substance abuse services. Stakeholders, including the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority, the state’s new Division of Behavioral Health, service providers and beneficiaries were brought together to make recommendations, producing a comprehensive final report on service integration issues. Work included large and small group facilitation, online surveys communication and public awareness.
Indra Arriaga
Indra Arriaga is a Senior Consultant with Information Insights. She holds an MA in Political Science from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to joining II, Indra supervised the Division of Community and Regional Affairs, Research and Analysis section, under the State of Alaska, Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development.
While at DCCED, Indra was responsible for community information systems and analysis on a wide range of topics, from demographics to the impacts of the high cost on energy on communities, and state level industry dynamics.
